Information on Nicollet County:

First created in 1853 from Dakota County.   County Seat is Saint Peter.  Cities, towns and communities include:  Klossner, New Sweden, Nicollet, North Mankato, Oshawa, St. George, Saint Peter and Traverse.  Nicolette County is located in south central Minnesota.  Neighboring Minnesota counties include:  Renville and Sibley counties to the north; Le Sueur county to the east; Blue Earth county to the southeast and south; and Brown county to the southwest and west.

This project will endeavor to provide actual transcriptions of Marriage Applications, and other Marriage Records, as found recorded in the county court house and state archives. We are encouraging these transcriptions to be entire marriage books and/or rolls of microfilm.
