We are looking for any
historical documents, articles, photos, etc. Everyone is urged to
donate transcriptions of Mississippi bible records, cemeteries,
court records, old newspaper articles, biographies of residents, old
letters, census data, obituaries, family histories, parish
histories, military records, old photographs, etc.
The USGenWeb has provided an easy to use form for submitting RECORDS
to the Mississippi GenWeb. It will be forwarded to me for the County
Archives. You can still submit a free form text document if you
choose not to use the form provided.

Archives File Preparation
Search hints: There are over
9000 pages in the MS Archives. To narrow your
search, add the county name to the end or beginning of your search,
i.e. Smith+Coahoma or
Attala+Allen. You can also used
the advanced search which is here:
advanced search
to search for phrases. Remember many surnames are
listed Surname, First name as in
Smith, John which you can put in " "
also to search or search it as a phrase in the advanced search. |
