Howard County

Howard County was created in 1873 from unorganized non-county area. Allered (no longer existing), Dunn, Mckenzie and Wallace (no longer existing) were created from Howard  in 1883 making Howard's existence a short ten years.  During this period the 1880 census was taken. The ten individuals enumerated for Howard in that census are listed  below in a transcription done by Holly Timm in 2004.
