The Arritt house was built on Potts Creek about 1861 by John S. Arritt.
His widow later married Moses G. Wright and it is now called the John S. Arritt/Moses G. Wright house.  It is still standing and information about it can be found in the WPA records in Richmond, VA.

near old Rt 60 west of Covington, in fact the main road went over this bridge from the mid 1800's until the early 1900's.
