Buffalo Baptist Church Located
at a dead-end on Rt 730 about .8 mi south of Rt 58, west of Clarksville.
The original Buffalo Creek building, erected in 1778, was of log construction. In 1825 a new
church was built a short distance from the old, and in 1894 and in 1967, succeeding churches were
built on the same land. (Life By the Roaring Roanoke, p99, Bracey)
